14 Teachers & Students Assist In Investigation Of Paedophilia Case At MRSM Tumpat
The investigation is ongoing, and the police are awaiting the teacher's medical report.
A total of 14 individuals, including teachers and students, have been summoned to give statements in a paedophilia case involving a teacher at Maktab Rendah Sains Mara (MRSM) Tumpat
Kelantan police chief Datuk Muhamad Zaki Harun said they had identified the author of Instagram and Facebook posts related to the paedophilia case involving the teacher.
"We are still waiting for the teacher's medical report, as the author of the posts used to study there. There could be another reason why the posts were made.
"We will continue the investigation and get the doctors' opinions before sending the investigation papers to the prosecutor. So far, the investigation is progressing well, and we are getting cooperation from both sides," he said.
Last month, a former MRSM student had accused a teacher of being a paedophile
She alleged that she had received a disturbing message from a junior at her school.
"I can't believe that a teacher who is a paedophile, and has been proven to be a paedophile, is still teaching freely in that school. When I was 13, I was warned by seniors that this particular teacher would send dirty texts to you if he found you pretty. And when I was a senior, we had to warn our juniors about him," she wrote.
She also claimed that despite being caught red-handed several times, the teacher was still allowed to teach minors.
