14-Year-Old Teen Caught Pretending To Be A Medical Officer At Serdang Hospital

A 14-year-old teenager has been arrested on suspicion of trespassing and impersonating a medical doctor at Sultan Idris Shah Hospital in Serdang, Selangor
According to a statement by the police, the teenager had allegedly entered the hospital's operating theatre on Wednesday, 7 August, claiming to be a medical officer and offering to assist in a surgery.
The incident was reported to the Sepang district police headquarters immediately, as the girl was not recognised by other hospital staff.
Police arrested the teenager after she was caught again trying to register at the hospital counter with a fake identity on Thursday, 8 August
"The hospital contacted the police immediately and an arrest was made," read the statement yesterday.
The teenager was arrested at the hospital lobby, and the police also seized scrubs and a hospital lanyard from the suspect.
According to Malay Mail, the teenager is under a two-day remand.
The case is being investigated under Section 448 and Section 170 of the Penal Code for trespassing and impersonating a public servant.
