A social media influencer has been remanded for six days to assist in the investigation of a break-in at the house of her ex-husband and his other former wife

Kota Bharu district police chief ACP Mohd Rosdi Daud confirmed the remand issued by Magistrate Amin Rashidi Ramli after the victim's other former wife reported missing items to the police, reported Harian Metro.

He stated that the police received a report from her at 9.47pm on Sunday, 4 August, claiming that her house had been broken into at 11.30pm on 22 July.

"Several items were found missing, and the complainant found a plastic bag of medicine on the table in her room, with the name of a woman known to her and her [former] husband written on it," Mohd Rosdi said in a statement yesterday, 6 August.

Acting on the information, the suspect was apprehended at 11.30pm on Monday, 5 August.

The suspect admitted to entering the house when the complainant was not home

The investigation revealed signs of forced entry on the sliding and front glass doors.

The case is being investigated under Section 457 of the Penal Code, and the suspect is being held under Section 117 of the Criminal Procedure Code.

It is understood that a live broadcast went viral on TikTok previously, showing the suspect and her former co-wife discussing their past marital issues.

In the video, one of them claimed that she was frequently abused by her ex-husband, prompting her to leave him, reported Harian Metro.
