The incident was captured in an almost three-minute long video, which has gone viral on Facebook

The video begins with individuals — believed to be the teen's family members — checking on him while he is lying on the ground.

After realising something is amiss, they carry him out of the haunted house to an open space.

"Tolong, tolong, ada orang pengsan (Help, help, someone has fainted)," a woman's voice can be heard shouting in the video.

A man can be seen checking the teen's pulse once they exit the 'haunted house'.

Bentong police chief Supt Zaiham Mohd Kahar said the case has been classified as sudden death and the victim's body has been sent to his residence in Melaka

Based on the autopsy, Zaiham said that the teen experienced complications involving a hole in his heart, reported Utusan Malaysia.

A spokesperson from a funeral van service said that the victim's father had requested them to help bring the victim's body back to Melaka for burial at Tanah Perkuburan Islam Bukit Baru, reported Kosmo.
