Nur Izzati was believed to have gone missing at around 10.50am on Saturday, 23 May, while descending the hill with her family

She had reportedly decided to walk ahead alone because she felt hot and tired and wanted to get down faster.

Over the past few days, the case had drawn widespread attention online, with many Malaysians sharing prayers and hoping the teenager would be found safe.
