[VIDEO] 2 Helicopters Collide & Crash At TLDM Base In Lumut

Two helicopters collided mid-air and crashed at the Royal Malaysian Navy (TLDM) base in Lumut this morning, 23 April

According to Harian Metro, the tragedy occurred during a flypast exercise in preparation for the Fleet Open Day scheduled from 3 to 5 May.

Ten victims, including seven crew members and three passengers, were reported dead in the crash.

A source from the TLDM Strategic Communication Unit said that a media statement would be issued soon.

A 21-second video circulating on social media shows one helicopter colliding with the tail of another helicopter before both appear to crash to the ground

Helicopter debris can also be seen falling to the ground near the base, where hundreds of other TLDM personnel were conducting a marching exercise.
