32-Year-Old Man Arrested On Suspicion Of Breaking Into Girls Hostel In Terengganu

The suspect, aged 32, also outraged the modesty of one of the students at the hostel.

According to a Bernama report, the incident happened at about 3am Saturday.

Earlier today, 5 July, in a statement, Kemaman district police chief superintendent Hanyan Ramlan said the suspect was hiding under a bed in one of the students' rooms in the hostel.

The suspect came out of hiding from under a bed and approached three students.

"The suspect asked for their telephones and touched the thigh of one of them," Hanyan said.

The students, however, screamed for help, following which the suspect fled the scene.
