Loyalty and perseverance paid off for a punter as he was rewarded with a handsome sum of RM13.3 million for winning the Toto 4D Jackpot 1 on 4 March
New Straits Times reported that the retired salesman from Perak had been playing Sports Toto games since he started working three decades ago.
He won the draw with 7935 and 6303, which he said have been his lucky numbers ever since the digits helped him win RM10,000 many years ago
"I have been buying the same set of numbers since the last win as they were still lucky to me," he said after collecting his winnings with his daughter.
His daughter told reporters that her father was calm when she and other siblings alerted him that his numbers had appeared in the first and third prize of Toto 4D.
The man said he will be sharing a portion of the winnings with his children
“We were happier and more excited than our father after knowing that he actually won RM13.3 million," she added.
He bought a System 3 ticket, which had not only won him a whopping RM13,273,197.40 but also an additional RM336.
