A 77-year-old man has been arrested after allegedly setting his neighbour's house on fire over persistent loud radio noise
According to Sin Chew Daily, Temerloh police chief ACP Mohd Nasyim Bahron said the incident occurred at the Sri Kemuning Flats in Temerloh, Pahang, last Friday, 14 August.
In a 31-second video, the man can be seen holding what appears to be a container of flammable liquid before placing a piece of paper on his neighbour's gate.
He then sets the paper alight, with flames quickly spreading across the front of the house.
A separate video shows police officers confronting the man at his house. One of his family members can be heard claiming that the neighbour had frequently caused noise disturbances at the flat.
The man then interjected, saying that his grandchild is still young, suggesting that the persistent radio noise had made it difficult for the child to sleep.

Mohd Nasyim said no casualties were reported as the fire was promptly extinguished
The man was arrested and later released on bail pending further investigation.
