A 50-Year-Old Teacher Of A Primary School Is Being Accused Of Molesting His 3 Students

The students are aged between 9 and 10.

Terengganu state police have detained a 50-year-old teacher of a primary school in Jerteh. He is being accused of molesting three of his students by their parents.

According to the police report lodged by the parents on Tuesday, the teacher molested his three students inside the school's computer lab. The students are aged between nine and 10. The suspected incident happened on Monday, 1 August.

Police Chief Superintendent Mohd Zamri Mohd Rowi, while confirming the report, said that the parents had initially gone to see the headmaster about the alleged incident

However, they eventually decided to lodge the police report together, Rowi added.

"The police detained the suspect, aged 50, at the school around 3pm," he told reporters in Besut on 4 August, reported Bernama.

While the alleged victims have been sent to Hospital Universiti Sains Malaysia in Kubang Kerian for examination, the teacher, Superintendent Rowi said, doesn't have any criminal records and tested negative for drugs
