A Father Who Raped His 10-Year-Old Daughter Has Been Sentenced To 18 Years In Jail
The father will also be whipped 10 times.

A 50-year-old father from Kota Bharu, who had raped his 10-year-old daughter in September 2016, was sentenced to 18 years in jail
The father was also ordered the punishment of 10 strokes of the cane by Sessions Court judge Ahmad Bazli Bahruddin, today, 17 December.
A trader by profession, the unrepresented father pleaded guilty. The 18-year-long sentence was ordered to begin from 13 October 2017, the date he was arrested.
He had committed the sexual assault at an unnumbered house in Beris Kubur Besar, Bachok, before the 22 September midnight
He had gone to his ex-wife's house to fetch the daughter to stay at his home before the incident happened. However, she had refused to go with him.
The daughter was then coaxed by her mother to go, who had no idea about the monstrous act her ex-husband would be unleashing on their daughter.
He raped her between 9.30pm and 11.15pm and sent her home at about 11.30pm.
According to a report in NST Online, the daughter was aged 10 years and four months at the time her father raped her.
When the victim arrived back at home, her mother noticed she was behaving differently and questioned her
She told her mother that she had been raped and that this was not the first time.
About three weeks later, on 12 October, the father, who has eight children, again went to his ex-wife's house and wanted to take her to his house.
However, this time the mother refused to allow him to take the girl. She then lodged a police report and he was arrested the next day on 13 October.
