A Man High On Drugs Mutilated His Disabled Father And Buried Him Behind Their House
His head, hands, and legs were found buried in a hole.
A 74-year-old man's body was found mutilated and buried near his home in Kampung Kanthan Baru, Ipoh yesterday, 9 October
You Su Kim's daughter, who went to visit him at his house on Tuesday morning, alerted a neighbour when she noticed blood on his mattress, pillow, and wall.
"We then found signs of a freshly dug hole behind the house," she said, according to New Straits Times.
Upon questioning, the victim's 52-year-old son admitted to murdering his father and brought the police to where he hid his father's head and body parts
Perak Crime Investigation Department head Yahya Abdul Rahman revealed that You Su Kim's head, hands, and legs were found buried in a hole at the back of their house, while the rest of his remains were discovered in a five-foot sewage tank.
Police later found a 0.6-metre machete used to cut up the victim's body in one of the rooms.
SAC Yahya revealed that the murder suspect was high on syabu and killed his father after getting scolded for taking drugs in the house
The victim's other daughter, who lived just behind his house, reportedly heard her father and brother arguing at about 8pm the night before, Channel NewsAsia reported.
"Neighbours said my brother was holding a weapon and seen pacing up and down inside the house," she said.
The suspect, a divorcee and father of two, was reportedly a contractor but had been jobless for three months. He had been living with his paralysed father for several years.
The case is currently being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.
