"(The principal) embarrassed me in front of other teachers and threatened to take revenge on me," the teacher said in her police report, dated 3 October, against the school principal.

The woman revealed that she then harmed herself in front of the principal after she "lost control" of herself.

However, the principal was reportedly unfazed by the teacher's actions

"He didn't care about me, and he told other teachers to bring me to a private clinic as he was scared of (it) turning into a criminal case," the 28-year-old said.

China Press reported that the teacher, who was accompanied by three of her colleagues, was sent to a private clinic in Kuala Selangor to seek treatment for her injury.

In her police report against the school principal, the woman said that she is seeking to be reimbursed for her medical cost

"To this day (3 October), the State Education Department has not taken any action against the principal for his crimes against me and other teachers," the 28-year-old added.

At the time of writing, the "crimes" alleged by the teacher remain unclear.

"I'm making this police report because I cannot accept the principal's behaviour for intentionally causing me a lot of stress," she said.
