In a recent viral video, a young woman cautioned the public to be aware of their surroundings at all times after claiming that she escaped a suspected robber at a supermarket in Kepong

In the video, Suki Yap said that she was driving alone in the supermarket in search of a parking spot. When she finally parked, she noticed a man leaning against a nearby pillar whom she said was “acting suspiciously”.

Feeling uneasy about the situation, she kept her doors locked and stayed inside.

Yap also added that he appeared to “be drunk or faking it”.

Shortly after, the man walked over to her car and tried to forcefully open her locked door. Though Yap managed to quickly drive away, she circled back to try and snap a photo of the man.

However, by the time she went back to the spot, he was nowhere to be seen.

In her post, Yap also lamented the fact that she does not have footage of the incident, as she has not install a dash cam yet.

She believes the man was targeting lone women and urged the public to be aware of their surroundings at all times

“Always keep your vehicle doors locked and stay inside in such situations,” she added.

At the time of writing, the video has been viewed over 194,000 times and shared over 6,300 times on Facebook.  You can watch it here:
