Alliance Bank Staff In KL Tests Positive For COVID-19

The bank said that the employee is non-client-facing.

Alliance Bank has announced that an employee of theirs in Kuala Lumpur tested positive for COVID-19 after she recently returned from Sabah

According to a statement released by the bank today, 1 October, the non-client-facing employee came back from Sabah on Sunday, 27 September.

The bank also said that the employee has been physically absent from the office since 12 September, prior to her travel to Sabah

"Therefore, this employee has not had any physical contact with any other employees at the office since then," reads the statement.

The affected employee is currently being treated at an appointed government hospital

The bank added that it will continue to observe all precautionary safety measures in accordance to guidelines by the Ministry of Health (MOH).
