A freak accident took place in Kuala Lumpur today, 11 September
An air ventilation unit in the Semarak Tunnel near the Malaysian Police Training Centre (PULAPOL) in Jalan Sultan Yahya, fell on a container trailer, according to a Facebook post by national news agency Bernama.
The trailer was badly damaged in the accident.
Bernama posted several photos of the accident
One of the photos showed the massive size of the air ventilation unit as it lay inside the tunnel.
As of this writing, no further details have been released
According to a report in Kosmo, police have said that they will issue a statement soon.
