An Out Of Control Proton Perdana Crashed And Caused The Death Of A Man In Shah Alam
The driver's blood samples have been taken for alcohol and drug screening tests.
In a tragedy that happened on Saturday, 26 September, an engineer was killed while his wife and two children were injured when the car they were travelling in was hit by a car believed to have lost control
According to a report in Sinar Harian, the accident happened at Persiaran Tun Teja.
The victim, identified as Ahmad Safwan Sulin, 32, was pronounced dead at about 3.45pm yesterday.
In the accident, the Proton Perdana driven by a 36-year-old man lost control and collided with the Perodua Aruz driven by the victim
"The collision caused the victim severe trauma and he was pronounced dead at the scene, while his wife and their two children were injured," Shah Alam District Police Chief ACP Baharudin Mat Taib said today, 27 September.
The victim's two children, who were injured, are aged three and five
According to ACP Baharudin, the victim's body was sent to Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital (Klang General Hospital) and the victim's wife and children were rushed to Shah Alam Hospital.
Meanwhile, police have taken blood samples of the driver
The driver of the Proton Perdana is currently in the red zone of the Klang General Hospital.
His blood samples were taken for alcohol and drug screening tests.
"Investigations are still underway and the case is being investigated under Section 41 (1) of the Road Transport Act 1987," ACP Baharudin said.
