The announcement will outline the government's spending priorities for the coming year, including measures related to the cost of living, workers' welfare, public services, and economic growth.
This marks the fifth national budget under the Madani Government and the second under the 13th Malaysia Plan (13MP).
According to the Finance Ministry, the budget aims to build on previous economic measures while improving living standards, strengthening the country's economic resilience, and ensuring development benefits reach Malaysians more fairly.

The government's priorities include addressing the rising cost of living through targeted assistance, such as Sumbangan Tunai Rahmah (STR) and Budi Madani, as well as improving social protection for gig workers.
Other areas of focus include narrowing development gaps between regions, strengthening education and healthcare services, and preparing for an ageing population by 2030.

The budget will also look at improving access to affordable housing and rental, strengthening public transport, and improving essential services such as education and healthcare.
Workers' welfare is another priority, with the government looking to promote better wages, expand skills training, and create more high-skilled job opportunities.
Meanwhile, local businesses could receive further support through the 'Made by Malaysia' initiative, while the government aims to attract more high-value investments in sectors such as semiconductors and artificial intelligence (AI).
Other areas highlighted by the Finance Ministry include cybersecurity, preventing online scams, strengthening food security, and improving energy security amid global uncertainties.
The government also plans to improve public services through digitalisation and Government Technology (GovTech).

Malaysians can catch the budget tabling live at 3.30pm today through local television stations and social media platforms.
Following the announcement, the Supply (Budget) Bill 2027 is scheduled to be debated in the Dewan Rakyat over eight days, starting next week.
Ministerial replies are scheduled from 26 to 29 October, followed by the committee stage debate from 2 to 26 November. The Bill will then be put to a vote in the Dewan Rakyat.
