#Belanjawan2027: 5.3 Million Students To Receive RM200 Back-To-School Aid
A family with four children can receive RM800 in total, said the prime minister.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim announced that the back-to-school financial aid will be increased from RM150 to RM200 per pupil next year
Anwar, who is also the Finance Minister, announced this during the tabling of the Belanjawan 2027 today, 9 October.
The initiative, Bantuan Awal Persekolahan, will benefit 5.3 million eligible pupils.
"This means a family with four children will receive RM800 to prepare for the 2027 school year.
"The aid will be distributed at schools so parents can attend and meet teachers in person. This is part of a shared responsibility for children's academic progress and character development," said the prime minister.
