[BREAKING] Police Confirm A Light Aircraft Has Crashed On Shah Alam Road

The police have confirmed that a light aircraft has crashed on a road in Shah Alam, Selangor

According to Bernama, the aircraft crashed in City of Elmina, a 5,000-acre township in Shah Alam, today, 17 August.

FMT reported that the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia will issue a statement soon.

Two people have reportedly died as a result of the crash.

A video spotted by SAYS shows a person engulfed in flames on the road. Other videos show thick flames billowing from the wreckage.

Police officers and fire and rescue department personnel were spotted at the scene.

It is understood that the light aircraft was flying from Langkawi and heading toward Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport in Subang

The Vibes reported that it is currently uncertain how many individuals were on the flight.

SAYS has reached out to Sime Darby for a statement, but has yet to receive a response at the time of writing.
