The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) has recorded 41 cases of ticket fraud targeting desperate fans seeking tickets for the highly anticipated BTS world tour stops in Kuala Lumpur
Bukit Aman Commercial Crime Investigation Department (CCID) revealed that fans have already lost RM95,974.81 to online fraudsters.
CCID director Datuk Rusdi Mohd Isa disclosed that the syndicates are specifically targeting premium experiences, falsely advertising VIP, Soundcheck, and Priority Access categories across social media.
Rusdi said the syndicates' tactics include selling tickets before official sales open, using fake screenshots, and demanding immediate DuitNow transfers
Once payments were completed via bank transfers or QR codes, the suspects immediately ghosted the buyers.
According to the New Straits Times, Rusdi warned that cases will likely escalate once genuine tickets officially sell out.

Fans should completely avoid individual social media sellers who claim to possess special internal quotas or early access.
Before making any transaction, prospective buyers must verify phone and bank numbers on the Semak Mule portal.
