#Budget2024: Govt To Repair Toilets In 8,354 Schools
The government will also be allocating RM150 million to local government offices nationwide to maintain and repair public toilets.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim proposed that the government will be carrying out a targeted effort to maintain and repair toilets in 8,354 schools by the end of the year
"It is unacceptable that we allow children to go through school years with broken basic facilities and dilapidated toilets," said Anwar, who is also the Finance Minister, while tabling the Supply Bill 2024 at the parliament today, 13 October.
In addition, the government will also be allocating RM150 million to local government offices nationwide to maintain and repair public toilets.
