#Budget2023: Malaysian Taxpayers Will See A 2% Decrease In Income Tax

The 2% decrease will apply to those earning between RM50,001 and RM100,000 per annum.

Finance Minister Datuk Seri Tengku Zafrul Abdul Aziz has proposed the income tax rate for Malaysians to be decreased by 2%

During the announcement of Budget 2023 today, 7 October, the Finance Minister has announced a proposal for Malaysians earning between RM50,001 and RM70,000 per annum to have a tax decrease from 13% to 11%.

Malaysians earning between RM70,001 and RM100,000 yearly will see a tax decrease from 21% to 19%.
