#Budget2023: RM15 Billion For Flood Mitigation Initiatives
RM2 billion to be allocated to build retention ponds.

The government will be allocating RM15 billion for the Flood Mitigation Plans (RTB) until 2030, Finance Minister Datuk Seri Tengku Zafrul Abdul Aziz announced while tabling the #Budget2023 today, 7 October
He said that RM562 million will be for the construction of the Sabo dams, and RM2 billion to build retention ponds.
The National Disaster Management Agency (NADMA) will also receive RM174 million under the 2023 Budget.
