A Malaysian's Threads post has gone viral after she shared the name tags from the different retail jobs she has held since 2018
The post, which has garnered over 10,900 likes, shows seven name tags from five different companies.
"Every company has its own story. Grateful for every experience," she said.
Speaking to SAYS, Bunga, 37, said she worked as a cashier at a AEON Mall before pursuing a career in the retail and food and beverage (F&B) industry.
She began her retail career in 2018 at FamilyMart, where she worked as a store supervisor with a starting salary of RM2,100.
She then joined Elews Mart in 2020 before moving to Ayam Gepuk Pak Gembus, where she worked until 2022.
In 2022, Bunga joined ZUS Coffee through a six-month trainee programme and stayed with the company for two years. Her last role there was outlet manager.
In 2024, she joined CHAGEE as an area manager, earning RM9,000 a month.

Bunga said she believes that progressing in the industry is not simply about switching jobs but also about having the right knowledge and a proven track record.
"Knowledge about F&B itself and your achievements throughout your time in the industry are very important," she shared.
According to her, potential employers will look at a candidate's audit reports, understanding of standard operating procedures (SOPs), ability to manage staff, as well as how they handle outlet and customer-service issues.
"Whether an outlet has high sales or not, you need to know how to manage the staff and solve outlet problems," she said.
As an area manager, Bunga's responsibilities now go far beyond managing a single outlet. She monitors the performance and operations of more than 20 outlets while ensuring that the managers under her understand their responsibilities and are able to deliver consistent results.
The role also requires frequent travel, as she prefers personally visiting the outlets under her care.
"I'm the type who needs to visit the outlet myself before I'm satisfied," she said.
Despite reaching this stage in her career, Bunga remains humble about her achievements.
"To say that I've succeeded is still too early.
"But the effort to reach this level has definitely not been easy. There's a lot that we need to know and learn," she concluded.
