Changi Airport Is Allegedly Hiring M'sians For RM10,000/Month Salary With 4-Day Work Week
Singapore's largest airport is allegedly hiring Malaysians for jobs that pay a monthly salary of RM10,000 and have a four-day work week
According to a vacancy poster published on ATV News Online, Singapore Changi Airport is said to be willing to hire Malaysian talents up for a RM10,000 or SGD3,000 monthly salary.
The opening positions are sales assistants and customer service specialists.
The poster also says uniforms and training will be provided, and that the morning and night shift jobs have a four-day work week.
Anyone who is interested in the job can visit Holiday Inn Hotel in Johor Bahru, Johor for a walk-in interview on 19 August
SAYS did not receive a response when contacted via phone number and email listed on the vacancy poster.
SAYS has also reached out to Changi Airport to get a confirmation on the authenticity of the job openings.
At the time of writing, a Facebook post carrying the vacancy post has garnered over 1,100 likes and 400 shares
Singapore's Chinese newspaper Shin Min Daily uploaded the vacancy post on Facebook and received almost 300 comments.
Many netizens were suspicious of the offer, asking if it was a "scam".
One netizen said if the salary of the jobs were indeed so well-paid, Singaporeans would have taken the jobs and Malaysians would not get the chance to apply, pleading with the public "please don't be stupid".
