The announcement was published on Senai state assemblyman Tee Boon Tsong's Facebook page and reshared by Deputy Education Minister Teo Nie Ching.

You only need two things to check your eligibility

First, key in your identification card (IC) number on MyBSH. You will then need to request for a TAC code that will allow you to log into your BSH account.

The first payment will be credited into the recipients' bank accounts on 28 January.

It was previously announced that the first BSH payment will be made using the old Bantuan Rakyat 1Malaysia (BR1M) database

"The vetting process to take out the names of those who are unqualified since they do not belong to the B40 group will take some time," said Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng in a report by New Straits Times.

"The BSH 2019 will benefit some 4.1 million households via the first phase payment worth RM300 each."

Recipients can begin updating their details on the official MyBSH website between 1 February to 15 March.
