Good news, Cheras-ians! A new shopping complex called EkoCheras Mall has just opened. :D

The mall's soft launch took place this week on 18 September and will officially open on 1 October.

A Facebook post with photos of the mall has received over 3,600 shares so far in less than 24 hours.

Located along Jalan Cheras, the mall is about nine kilometres from Kuala Lumpur City Centre and is easily accessible via Mass Rapid Transit (MRT)

A dedicated covered link-bridge connects the mall directly to Taman Mutiara MRT Station.

The mall is also near to a Tesco branch, Leisure Mall, UCSI University, SJKC Taman Connaught, and SMK Seri Mutiara.

There are approximately 2,000 parking bays in the car park – so, (hopefully) less time spent looking for parking and more time spent shopping.

The mall has a total of 288 retail stores, from fashion outlets to food and beverage spots... including an eight-screen cinema!

Late night movies ftw.

If you get hungry while shopping, the mall has a 'Food Street' on its Lower Ground floor with the "best street flavours of Cheras and Malaysia"

Spoilt for choice.
