Unclogging a sink is usually a routine affair, but a plumber in Johor Bahru got the ultimate surprise during a recent house call when he found something far worse than hair buildup inside a pipe
At 2pm on 13 August, Awen arrived at a terrace house in Kempas, Johor, after the owner complained of a severely blocked sink.
According to Berita Harian, to clear the obstruction, the 38-year-old had to saw through a medium-sized pipe, completely unaware that the reptile was resting inside.
"I accidentally cut the creature while trying to fix a clogged sink, which separated its head from its tail," said Awen
"It was my first time facing a situation like this. I also had to pull the snake out from the pipe," he added.
A video of the gruesome plumbing discovery has since gone viral on Facebook, leaving social media users horrified at the thought of what might be lurking in their own pipes.
