Dad Watches In Horror As Son Dragged Into River By Crocodile

The 28-year-old victim is still missing.

A father could only watch in horror as his 28-year-old son was dragged into a river by a crocodile in Kinabatangan, Sabah, yesterday, 17 March

According to Harian Metro, the duo was on a shrimp fishing trip in Kampung Segaliud when the crocodile attacked Mohd Rayyan Abdullah.

Kinabatangan fire and rescue station chief Hairi Otuh said they received a call about the incident at 8.22pm.

A team of firefighters was dispatched to the scene, located 30km away from the station, and arrived at 9.10pm.

"According to the victim's father, who was also at the scene, his son was attacked right before his eyes," said Hairi

"Search and rescue operations are still underway involving four members. So far, the victim has not been found," he added.
