In a sarcastic response to Najib commending Rosmah during the 64th UMNO AGM, former New Straits Times group editor-in-chief Datuk A. Kadir Jasin has this advice for our Prime Minister.

An alleged call from the Prime Minister’s office apparently resulted in the Astro Awani website removing a report on a blog posting by former New Straits Times group editor-in-chief Datuk A. Kadir Jasin which had suggested that Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor be appointed as a minister.

Yesterday, in his closing speech for Umno’s 64th General Assembly, Najib said his wife had quietly played an important role in helping Malaysians who were in a pinch during the 2011 civil unrest in Egypt that deposed President Hosni Mobarak.
