EMCO In Selangor To End At Midnight Tonight
The National Security Council (MKN) has agreed not to extend the EMCO in all 34 sub-districts in Selangor.
The Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO) imposed at 34 sub-districts in Selangor is going to end at midnight tonight, 16 July, according to Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob
Ismail Sabri said that the National Security Council (MKN) held a special meeting today where it studied presentations from the Ministry of Health (MOH) regarding the current situation.
Following which, it agreed not to extend the EMCO in all the sub-districts involved.
The EMCO was imposed across the eight districts in the state on 3 July
It was scheduled to end today.
Selangor today recorded a total of 5,515 new COVID-19 cases
The state has continued to record the highest number of new infections across the country.
