Formula One (F1) drivers George Russell and Kimi Antonelli have shared their love for Malaysia ahead of the Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix (GP) at the Sepang International Circuit this weekend
Speaking at the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team press conference yesterday, 30 September, Russell said he and six other F1 drivers had the chance to enjoy the beauty of Langkawi, reported Berita Harian.
Russell said he visits Malaysia several times a year due to his team's partnership with PETRONAS.
"I love coming to Malaysia.
"People at PETRONAS have recommended to go and visit the beautiful island of Langkawi.
"Such a beautiful, beautiful place. The people are so friendly and, it felt like a little world being in there," said the British driver.

The 20-year-old Italian driver said he was thrilled to be able to go on the rides multiple times due to the low crowd.
"I did the same slide five times in like three minutes. So I was just running up and down, but it was good."
Antonelli also said he had visited Kuala Lumpur for sightseeing and planned to explore Malaysian food after the race.
He was then interrupted by Russell, who asked whether he had tried roti canai, to which Antonelli said he had not.
"Is it good?" Antonelli asked, to which Russell responded, "It is really good. I love it."
Antonelli said he would try it before adding that he would work on getting familiar with the local weather and humidity.
The Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 duo will race at the Sepang International Circuit in their F1 cars for the first time this weekend.
Russell said the local weather could prove challenging, especially if it rains, as the current-generation cars have limited experience running on wet tyres at the circuit, reported Sinar Daily.
