A video of a father holding his child over a rubbish bin to defecate at a boarding gate in KLIA Terminal 2 has gone viral on Threads, drawing harsh criticism from netizens
In the 28-second video, the father is seen lifting his son and spreading his legs over a rubbish bin, allowing the child's faeces to fall into it.
The incident is believed to have occurred at the boarding gate for a flight from Kuala Lumpur to Penang, with the video later showing other passengers waiting to board while the child sits in a stroller.
"Where have this person's manners gone? The toilet wasn't far away, yet they chose not to take their child there. How could they casually let their child leave smelly faeces in a rubbish bin?
"Should people like this face community service? I pity the janitors who have to clean the rubbish bin and the passengers who have to endure this foul smell," read the caption.

While the original post has since been removed, a re-upload has garnered over 19,500 likes
"This should go viral internationally, at the same level as the Malaysian who went viral for being rude in China," read a top comment.
"Why didn't the police make an arrest in a case like this? Is there no law? Arrest, pay the fine, and deport," wrote a netizen, while another added, "The airport should detain them from boarding. Either pay a fine or go clean up that rubbish bin if you want to fly out. Really bad behaviour."
