Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Minister Datuk Seri Salahuddin Ayub praised the delivery platform's commitment to expanding the reach of the Menu Rahmah initiative to more people

He told The Star that efforts to make Menu Rahmah more accessible will not be successful without the voluntary participation of restaurant operators.

"It is heartening to see that even food delivery platforms such as foodpanda have joined the initiative to ensure that more Malaysians have access to affordable food," he added.

The bundles contain essential grocery items and are priced at RM30 or RM50 each, reports Utusan Malaysia.

foodpanda Malaysia has donated 300 Bakul Rahmah packages, valued at RM15,000 in total, to the Rahmah Malaysia Foundation to be distributed to those who are in need.
