The accused are former lawyer N. Pathmanabhan, 43, and farm hands T. Thilaiyalagan, 21, R. Matan, 22, and R. Kathavarayan, 33.
“The prosecution has proven its case beyond a reasonable doubt,” Justice Akhtar Tahir was quoted as telling a packed courtroom in Petaling Jaya by The Star Online news portal.
Today's verdict brings to a close the 114-day long High Court trial which saw 138 witnesses take the stand and 742 exhibits tendered.
Justice Datuk Akhtar Tahir, who read out his judgment today ruled that the prosecution had proved its case against the accused.
