#GE15: Dr Radzi Dethrones Ku Nan In Putrajaya
Perikatan Nasional's (PN) Datuk Dr Mohd Radzi Md Jidin won the seat with a convincing majority against incumbent Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor, who had dominated the Putrajaya seat for the past 18 years.
Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor, who had held the Putrajaya seat since it was first created in 2004, has lost to Datuk Dr Mohd Radzi Md Jidin
Tengku Adnan, who is known as Ku Nan, received 13,692 votes, while Radzi won 16,002 votes. With 2,310 votes over Ku Nan, the Perikatan Nasional (PN) candidate won the seat with a convincing majority.
Meanwhile, Pakatan Harapan (PH) candidate Dr Noraishah Mydin Abdul Aziz got 5,988 votes and Pejuang candidate Datuk Mohd Rosli Ramli received 878 votes in total.
Three candidates even lost their deposits
Among them are two independent candidates, Samsudin Mohamad Fauzi, who got 63 votes, and Lim Fice Bee, who received 20 votes. The third candidate to lose his deposit is Pejuang's Rosli.
The defeat is especially painful for Ku Nan, who dominated Putrajaya for the past 18 years. He has now been dethroned.
