Perak Housewife Thanks Chinese Deity For RM20.75 Million Sports Toto Jackpot Win

Earlier this month, a 50-year-old housewife from Perak struck big when she won the Toto 4D Jackpot 1 worth RM20.75 million
She credits the win to a local deity known as Datuk Kong who, the housewife claimed, "gave" her the winning numbers 9506 and 1406, according to a report in New Straits Times today, 27 December.
The woman collected her winnings at the STM Lottery Sdn Bhd head office in Kuala Lumpur.
The woman had bought a System 4 ticket
It went on to win her a whopping RM20,752,714.20 and RM672 as the System Play bonus.
The 50-year-old said that when she saw the winning numbers pop up on the Sports Toto result board, she was so excited that she could not sleep.
"As a faithful believer, I always offer my prayer to Datuk Kong at His shrine whenever I go back to my home town. Sometimes, I would pray for fortune and I am so blessed that Datuk Kong has granted me a pair of winning numbers," she said, adding that she will return to the shrine and properly thank the deity.
On how she plans to use her newfound wealth, the woman said that she wants to use the winnings to first pay off the family debts and then she will think about how to spend the money.
