An intern at a hospital in Nonthaburi province, Thailand, used Muay Thai to defend herself against a senior employee who sexually assaulted her

According to Thaiger, the victim, Baitong, posted CCTV footage of the incident on Facebook on 14 June, a year after the incident occurred.

She uploaded the video as a warning to the man after discovering he had recently assaulted other interns at the hospital.

In the Facebook post, Baitong explained that the incident happened when she was ordering food from a nearby stall around midnight

The suspect then offered to help by bringing the food to her because she was too busy at work to pick it up when it arrived.

However, when she went to get the food from him, the suspect hugged Baitong from behind.

Baitong, shocked by the ordeal, turned towards the senior worker and kicked him several times until he let her go.

Baitong said she learned Muay Thai from her grandfather, who is a martial arts trainer

Following the incident, she reported it to her superiors and the police. She then ended her internship at the hospital.

The suspect faced disciplinary action from the hospital and was eventually fired after repeating his misconduct with other interns.
