Malaysian Jariah Foundation Voluntary Brigade (BSYJM) chairperson Mahadzir Abd Hamid said an emergency response team found the duo incapacitated by sudden illness

He added that his team was alerted about the incident at around 4pm.

Evacuating the couple required six emergency responders and assistance from several villagers, as both victims weighed over 150kg each.

The medical team eventually transported the patients in two ambulances to ensure they reached Sik Hospital safely.
