Only fully vaccinated people are allowed to dine in throughout all phases of the National Recovery Plan (NRP), according to a clarification issued by Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin

Taking to his Twitter earlier today, 1 October, Khairy said that the standard operating procedures (SOPs) released by the National Security Council (MKN) have not yet been updated.

"The full vaccination requirement for dine-in REMAINS for all recovery phases", he tweeted.

He said that an official statement will follow soon

The clarification comes after a local portal reported that restaurants can allow all customers to dine in starting today

The portal, Free Malaysia Today, had reported that restaurants can allow dining-in by all customers to dine in, whether or not they are fully vaccinated, under Phase 3 of the NRP.
