A police officer in Kuala Lumpur is being praised for going above and beyond when she recently helped to deliver a baby unexpectedly

On Monday, 7 October, Bernama reported that 27-year-old Lance Corporal N Komathi was approached by a pregnant woman who had gone into labour at Terminal Bersepadu Selatan (TBS).

The officer immediately brought her to the nearest taxi stand and escorted her to the hospital.

However, during the journey, the baby began to crown.

Despite having no experience in delivering babies, Komathi was able to successfully deliver the 3.7kg newborn boy in the taxi.

Both mother and child are currently doing well at Hospital Canselor Tuanku Muhriz.
