Air Selangor just announced that some areas in Klang Valley will face unscheduled water disruption starting today, 3 September around 10am

The districts affected include Kuala Lumpur, Petaling, Klang/Shah Alam, Kuala Selangor, Hulu Selangor, Gombak, and Kuala Langat.

This is due to the shutting down of four water treatment plants as pollution had been detected in the Selangor River

Air Selangor also assured that they are working hand in hand with the Lembaga Urus Air Selangor (LUAS) to resolve the issue as soon as possible

The statement also mentioned that the list of impacted areas will be provided from time to time through Air Selangor's social media accounts including Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram as well as the Air Selangor mobile app and website.
