Three Shuttle Timuran train routes have also been modified.
Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB) has announced the cancellation of its MySawasdee train service between KL Sentral and Hat Yai, Thailand due to risk of floods
In a Facebook statement, KTMB said the MySawasdee train services 1004 and 1005 will be cancelled from today, 29 November, to Monday, 2 December.
"Passengers are entitled to a full refund, which will be processed through the KTMB mobile app (KITS)," the statement reads.
Alternatively, passengers can reach out to their station staff, call the KTMB Call Centre at +603-97791200, or email [email protected] for further assistance.
KTMB has also announced the cancellation of several KTM Intercity train services along the East Coast route due to floods and landslides
According to a Facebook post shared today, 29 November, here are the cancelled routes, as of 9.15am:
- ERT 26 (JB Sentral - Tumpat)
- ERT 27 (Tumpat - JB Sentral)
- SH 34 (Gemas - Kuala Lipis)
- SH 35 (Kuala Lipis - Gemas)
- SH 36 (Gemas - Kuala Lipis)
- SH 37 (Kuala Lipis - Gemas)
- SH 55 (Tumpat - Dabong)
- SH 57 (Tumpat - Gua Musang)
Meanwhile, three Shuttle Timuran train services have been modified:

- SH 52 (Gua Musang - Tumpat): Will now end in Dabong
- SH 60 (Kuala Lipis - Tumpat): Will now end in Gua Musang
These changes come after KTMB was forced to cancel several East Coast services yesterday, 28 November, due to flooding and landslides. The most affected area lies between Pasir Mas and Tanah Merah, where water levels have exceeded the rail level, deeming it unsafe for train operations.
Passengers are urged to stay informed about the latest developments by checking KTMB's official social media pages and SMS notifications for real-time updates on route closures and service alterations.
