Lamborghini Gets Attacked In Penang For Illegal Parking While Owner Is Having Economy Rice
The sports car was parked on a yellow line beside a bus stop, where an International Symbol of Access (ISA) was also seen painted on the floor.
A Lamborghini vehicle was attacked by a man for illegal parking while its owner was having economy rice at Jalan Perak in George Town, Penang
The incident occurred at 3pm last Saturday, 11 February, reported China Press.
According to a one-minute video uploaded by Oriental Daily, a man was seen kicking the front hood of the sports car, which was parked on a yellow line beside a bus stop.
An International Symbol of Access (ISA) was also spotted on the floor of the bus stop.
The footage also showed the side mirror of the vehicle had been allegedly damaged by the man.
He reportedly scratched the paintwork of the vehicle as well.
It was understood that the Lamborghini owner parked the vehicle next to the bus stop while they were dining at an eatery nearby that served economy rice
Not long after the Lamborghini owner stopped the vehicle by the busy road, a man believed to be in his 40s rode a bicycle to the scene and started cursing at the sports car, reported China Press.
He complained to bystanders that the vehicle should not have parked at the spot, as it inconvenienced other road users.
The Lamborghini owner was alerted by the commotion and immediately called the police. They reportedly had to tie the dangling side mirror to the vehicle before leaving the scene.
At the time of writing, the video has garnered over 2,200 likes and 1,000 shares
Many netizens were supportive of the man, applauding him for doing an act they have always wanted to do.
"Hero! (He's a) great hero. He did something that many people do not dare to do," read a top comment.
"Good man, 100% support. If (the authorities) acted with such integrity, no one would dare to park illegally," added another person.
"I've wanted to do this for a long time. It's so great to have you (do this)," wrote a netizen.
