Lorry Driver Who Stopped To Help Accident Victim Killed By Out-Of-Control Car

A lorry driver, who had stopped on the shoulder of the Kuala Lumpur–Karak Expressway to help an accident victim, was killed when a car lost control and hit him
The 48-year-old victim from Sri Tanjung, Kuantan, was travelling to Kuala Lumpur at 5pm on Saturday, 15 February, when he noticed a car had skidded off the expressway after a failed overtaking attempt.
Without hesitation, he pulled over to assist the driver, whose car had overturned into a ditch, reported a local Chinese daily.
Two other lorry drivers also stopped to help.
Together, they managed to pull the stranded driver out of the wreckage and were waiting by the roadside for emergency responders when tragedy struck, according to China Press.
A car approaching from behind lost control at the same spot and crashed into the group, hitting the victim and another lorry driver, while the third managed to leap out of the way just in time.
According to the victim's younger brother, he succumbed to his injuries while being rushed to the hospital in an ambulance
My brother was divorced and is survived by three daughters, aged 7, 9, and 11.
"He deeply loved his daughters and would send them to school every day. Our entire family is devastated by his sudden passing, and we will take good care of his children," he added.
