Guys, how far would you go to make your significant other happy?

For one Eugene Ng from Klang, his goal was to work hard, save up, and splurge on a Louis Vuitton handbag for his girlfriend

His quest was shared on Instagram and a Facebook post which has garnered over 14,000 shares at the time of writing.

In the post, the hopeless romantic says every man should give "everything" - consisting of love, money, fame, and time - for his partner.

He also made sure to subtly "PS" the fact that his girlfriend earns more than him.

A series of Instagram Stories documented in Ng's Facebook post details how it all started: The girlfriend had been complaining about back pain from carrying a heavy bag

Ng said his heart breaks every time he sees his girlfriend carrying the bag, which he revealed is weighted at 3-4kg.

When he persuaded her to change to a small one, she said she did not like small bags.

But the observant boyfriend knew her weakness: Louis Vuitton.

Not one to let his girlfriend suffer another day of heavy lifting, they went shopping in Pavillion the very next day

The couple went to Gucci first, but no luck.

"Then we went to LV. She got a lot of love inside."

Ng's girlfriend tried out different models and narrowed it down to three bags.

And a decision was made.

Ng was not going to let this opportunity to pamper his girlfriend slip. It was time to prove that he can afford a branded bag.

"But THIS TIME! She is damn wrong."

Ng then imparts his nuggets of wisdom:

He could not be more proud to reduce the weight of her bag from 3kg to a precise 0.7kg

His next goal? To buy one for his mother.

He had already bought her a car and a house, apparently.
