Man Falls Asleep While Driving In A Traffic Jam At Old Klang Road

A man has gone viral after he was caught sleeping in his car while stuck in a traffic jam yesterday, 10 December
In a TikTok video posted by Jai under the username @jaizahir, the man can be seen sleeping in his car, which is at a standstill in the middle of the road as other vehicles continue to move around it.
Speaking to SAYS, Jai said the incident occurred at Old Klang Road at around 9.45am.
It took Jai five minutes to wake the driver up by knocking on the window of his car
"Before I started recording the video, numerous cars were already honking non-stop.
"That's why I stopped my motorcycle and knocked on his window, trying to wake him up," Jai told SAYS.
The man can be seen waking up and flashing a thumbs up at Jai in the video, after which he presumably drives off.
Netizens expressed curiosity over why the driver had fallen asleep in that location, suggesting it could have been due to microsleep
"More precisely, microsleep," said a user.
"Microsleep can occur when you doze off during a traffic jam, and it's dangerous," another user remarked.
Meanwhile, other netizens also left amusing comments:
