Jogger Injured After Stepping Onto Nails Placed Upright In Rawang
The police are now investigating why the nails were left on the road.
A man was injured after he unknowingly stepped onto a nail along Persiaran Anggun during his morning jog in Bandar Country Homes, Rawang
He took to social media to post photos of his injuries, as well as the nails he found embedded in both sides of the road.
According to Harian Metro, the jogger has since lodged a police report as he believes the nails were intentionally placed in the gravel to cause hurt.
Gombak district police chief ACP Noor Ariffin Mohamad Nasir said the police received the victim's report on Saturday, 27 April
"The initial investigation found that the incident happened around 7am when the complainant, a 36-year-old local man, was jogging in the area involved.
"He stepped onto a nail that was planted on the side of the road, and found nine nails on both sides of the street," said the police chief.
Noor Ariffin added that the man suffered injuries to his left foot and left hand.

The case is being investigated under Section 324/283 of the Penal Code for voluntarily causing hurt by dangerous weapons.
