According to other Twitter users, this is not the first time the man has gone viral for sexually harassing other victims.

A Twitter thread by a woman showing a man asking her to watch him masturbate and offering her RM5,000 in return has gone viral

On Tuesday, 21 June, Janna, using the handle @r0sethang, shared her unpleasant conversation with the man who approached her on Instagram.

She shared the conversation on Twitter hoping to warn other women to stay away from the man.

"If this man follows you, please don't follow back! Report straight away. Help me share this post so other girls won't fall victim," she added.

Speaking with SAYS, Janna shared that the man began to sexually harass her when she responded to his message asking for "help"

It turns out his cry for "help" was asking her to watch him perform lewd acts for an initial pay of RM2,000.

She said that this was the first time such an incident had happened to her, and she did not expect that this would happen when she offered him help.

The man raised the payment to RM5,000 when Janna rejected his advances

He continued to press on while telling her that it was just one time and it would be their secret.

The guy even admitted that he had made this request to others who accepted it.

Janna told the man to focus his time on something that's more useful

However, the man ignored her and continued asking her to video call.

"Because he kept asking me to do those kinds of things, I decided to report and block his Instagram account," she said.

When she took this to Twitter to warn other women, there were netizens who shared that the same man had approached them

One user mentioned that the same incident happened two weeks prior to her.

Another said, "Yes, he's really sick," and shared that he sent the exact same message and bank slip to her.

Others said that the man has been approaching women and making such vile requests since last year

"This man went viral before. He still uses the same name. The picture is also another person's picture, I don't remember what the owner's username is. He really is a scammer. Last time when it went viral, he offered RM800, now he's scamming again for RM2,000 to RM5,000," another added.

One netizen said, "Their modus operandi is, in the beginning, they will tell the girl to just watch. But once the girl is aroused, they'll start to tell her to do this and that while recording the whole session. After that, they will threaten the person to pay if they don't want the video to spread. Heck, he might even be the same person in the display picture."

When asked whether she filed a police report, Janna told SAYS she had not as she did not think of filing one during the time of the incident.

Janna advised members of the public, especially women, to report and block the man and others who appear suspicious

"Don't simply accept any (follow) request from people you don't know and people you have a bad feeling about. It would be great if you could private your account for your own safety. If you feel that something is not right, just report and block that person," she said.
